Do customers have to answer?
No. The question is optional and easy to skip, and skipping never gets in the way of their order.
Where does the question show?
On the Thank you page right after checkout. Add it to the Order status page too, and customers who skip it see it again there.
Can I change the answers?
Yes. Rename, reorder, add or remove answers any time, and there's always an 'Other' option with a free-text box. On Pro you can add a follow-up question to any answer, like 'Which podcast?'
How is revenue per answer counted?
Each answer is saved with its order, so Just Curious adds up the orders and revenue for every answer over the date range you pick. Revenue, orders and average order value per answer are on Pro.
Can I compare answers with my tracking?
Yes, on Pro. For each answer, the reports show what Shopify's own tracking credited for the same orders, and how many of those orders had tracking data. Tracking can take up to 48 hours to arrive, and some orders never get it, for example when a shopper blocks cookies.
Can I ask only new customers?
Yes, on every plan. Turn on "Only ask customers placing their first order" and repeat buyers won't see the question.
Does it work with Klaviyo?
Yes, on Pro. Connect Klaviyo and each customer's answer is saved to their Klaviyo profile, ready for your segments and flows.
What happens after 100 responses on Free?
Free includes 100 responses a month. You'll see a heads-up in the app at 80. After 100, another 20 still come in while you decide. At 120 the question pauses until the 1st of next month, and customers simply don't see it. Upgrade any time to turn it back on instantly. Test orders never count.
